Funky Socks FDC
Story
Hi there!
Our FDC team would like to make a difference by supporting Odd Socks Day and fundraising for Grow's mental health groups! Please support my efforts by making a donation and by posting a message of support.
On the 30th of October our North FDC staff team will be having our monthly staff meeting and will participate in the annual national mental health anti-stigma campaign to raising the awareness for Mental Health in our community by wearing our FUNKIEST socks to work.
On this day, we ask all our supporters to help stamp out the stigma around mental health by wearing their Odd Socks to start the conversation about everyone’s mental health.
Ways you can make a difference:
Be a Friend – be there for others, during the ordinary and extraordinary
Be Brave – don’t tolerate discrimination or the stigma
Be Open – share your experiences
Be Informed – know the truth and dispel the myths
Be Good to Yourself – recognise the need for self-care
So, this Odd Socks Day, do something that spreads the word in the community and your place of work. Get involved in the fight against stigma and discrimination associated with mental illness.Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to Grow Australia, my charity of choice.
Thanks so much for your support!
